Black's Law Dictionary, Sixth Edition, page 1754 defines a Void Judgment as: "One which has no legal force or effect, invalidity of which may be asserted by any person whose rights are affected at any time and at any place directly or collaterally ... Judgment is a 'void judgment' if court that rendered judgment lacked jurisdiction of the subject matter, or of the parties, or acted in a manner inconsistent with due process."

Nearly all judgments in all of our courts today are faulty because of some defect, and are therefore void.

Seminar Venue: All seminars begin Friday evening and end Sunday afternoon unless stated otherwise. Seminars are held at a major hotel with discounted group rates where available.

Fri. night starts with a welcome dinner at 6:30 p.m. This is a relaxed time for Richard and the attendees to “meet and greet”. Richard gives a quick overview of what you can expect and he answers any questions that you may have about the seminar format and topics that will be covered.

The seminar venue is set in a class room style with a table/desk in front of you. This makes it easy for you to use your laptop, books and then, to take discussion notes so you will recall the lectures. You will have lots of opportunities to practice moot court and other engaging activities.
